The cholera outbreak was announced on October 6th, and since then ILS has scaled up its response efforts in Lebanon in supplying prevention and emergency medical supplies, including Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) and Cholera Treatment Kits, Water treatment tabs, Hygiene Kits to help support treatment cholera cases. In addition, ILS have delivered to its client’s chlorinated trucked water to ensure disinfection in informal settlements with suspected or confirmed cases.
